WIM, the medical mobility exoskeleton that fosters independence.

Wim is a lightweight, state-of-the-art Class I medical device, covered by 20 patents and distributed by Wimoove Srl.

It is a medical exoskeleton designed for people with reduced mobility, developed using advanced technologies and distributed exclusively within the European Union by Wimoove Srl, a company founded by a group of entrepreneurs from Reggio Emilia (Italy).

Made of aluminum and weighing just one kilogram, Wim can be put on independently—even while seated—in just 30 seconds.

“It represents a true innovation in mobility,” explains Bettazzi, Head of Business Development at Wimoove Srl. The device provides effective support for daily walking, thanks to its ergonomic design and high portability.

“Its function is strictly medical,” he points out, “and it is designed for those with motor deficits or reduced quadriceps strength.”

Made in Korea, Wim is simple to use: once folded, it takes up minimal space, is water- and dust-resistant, and integrates seamlessly into daily life.

“The ability to use it anywhere and at any time contributes significantly to people’s autonomy,” adds Bettazzi.

The device can be activated directly or via a dedicated app and is equipped with advanced technologies.

The AI Coach creates personalized exercise programs to improve mobility, while recording and tracking progress. It also features customizable options and voice guidance to help maintain motivation.

Wim helps improve posture, stride length, balance, and muscle strength, fostering a more confident and energetic gait and greater independence.

It can be used in various ways, including specific rehabilitation programs.

“It is an innovative solution designed for physiotherapists, residential care facilities, specialized clinics, and anyone with mobility issues,” concludes Bettazzi.

Wim is the flagship product of WiRobotics, a Korean company dedicated to developing safe, interactive robotic technologies integrated into daily life.
